Hampton Luxury Liner is back. M&V Limousines Ltd., which has locations in New Hyde Park, Commack, and New York City, acquired Classic Coach and Lancelot Limos, and has been building on that foundation ever since.

Classic Coach, which purchased Hampton Luxury Liner in 2011, filed for bankruptcy and its property was put up for bid in September of that year. M&V acquired the company's client lists, computer hardware and rights to the software, and gained all the rights to its trademarks, according to Mark Vigliante, M&V's president and chief executive officer.

"It will be a mix of luxury and affordability for Hamptons-bound New York City folks," he said in a press release at the time of the relaunch.

Mr. Vigliante confirmed that the company runs buses every day from Manhattan to the South Fork, with more runs during peak times, like Fridays and Sundays. Hampton Luxury Liner now includes Montauk as a stop on the route — an addition M&V introduced when it took over the service.

"We plan on doing a 50-passenger bus model with good Wi-Fi and outlets at every seat, nice comfortable leather seats," he said, adding that the coach buses are Mercedes-Benz Setras.

"I expect this to really expand our coach bus reach for schools, sports teams, tour companies, and more. There is a big need for safe and quality coach bus transportation."

M&V Limousines has grown its fleet significantly since the acquisition and continues to offer one of the most comprehensive luxury transportation options in the New York metro area.

In its purchase of Lancelot Limos, the company added three antique cars, two party buses, a Bentley Flying Spur, and two limos, according to Mr. Vigliante. A trolley bus purchased at auction from Classic Coach was among the first additions put to use, appearing in a popular holiday lights tour shortly after the acquisition.
